:: Silence & Solitude ::

Came bk from S & S yesterday =)

Hmmz..this year S & S wasn't purely Silent..nor was it spent in Solitude =P

Guess why?? Cos Chang, Yado and Dan were there too! Hehe actually there were only 6 of us who went..The guys, sandra, my sis and I. Though we only had a short getaway in Bintan Nirwana for 3 days 2 nights, we had a great time!

The first day we went, had a really long lunch while it rained in the sun..haha it was really funny..raining on one side of the beach and dry on the other =P

Went back to the room..had some quiet time..then dozed off till evening =P the guys..they went to rent a paddle boat and boy were they hilarious!!!

Tell me who brings a PS 2 for S&S?? The guys did! haha..My goodness u can tell when the guys are in the room cos they shout and groan and make banging noises..why? cos the moment the hit their room, they switch on their PS 2 and play soccer..haha lolz

Woah that night's dinner was fantastic! We had it at the Kelong..=O Ordered pepper crab and lots more..but the pepper crab was savoured by Chang & Yado! haha...my goodness both of them were high on crabs!!! Hehe..but seriously, the food was great!!!

The next day was fun lah. After breakfast i went sun-tanning for 2 hours cum S&S..since i had the whole time of peace n quiet =) Ermm..should have put some tanning lotion though..think i regretted it cos i got super burnt!!! haha..

Then my sis n I went swimming before lunch..the pool was nice man! Hehe there was a poolside bar..hehe we ordered some drinks there..shiok man!

Guess wat? Lunch time it rained again..the guys were wondering if it was the monsoon season but they came to the conclusion that it was probably like that all the time in Bintan =P After lunch the guys simultaneously played pool & monopoly with us..quite funny ah =)

Around 5pm we went to play beach volleyball..sigh..but so paiseh lor..i didnt manage to hit the ball properly..not even once..sigh..used too much strength but no skill..the ball just flew everywhere..felt quite bad the guys didnt get to play a good game cos of me..sigh...

Dinner was just great again! We had barbeque dinner with like a small acquistic band playing Oldies for us...man were they pro! The double base was cool man! though all they had was the guitar and small drums the singers' voices were almost heavenly man!

Sounds like my day wasnt spent much in silence huh =P but i know God was in our midst, protecting us and speaking to us =) Really cool time..

Wah think cos of the sun-tanning i was feeling feverish after dinner..we still went to the guys' room to watch them play soccer though...dont think they could have slept till they won a game =P hehe they just couldnt win Chelsea after like umpteen tries lah..thought i didnt have to sleep liao..but thank goodness they finally won a game!!! Haha..though it wasnt as Arsenal against Chelsea lah =P but i think it was just great anyhow =) Now i knew how they made so much noise in their room...lolz..really enjoyable man!

Though our stay was short, at least it refreshed most of us..and im glad my sis managed her Chinese Midyear Exam today with minimal stress =) Thank God =)
