:: Home Sweet Home ::

Hello EVERYBODY!!!

Back from Australia! Missed everyone so much..sigh..miss the CFers, miss Yue Ling, miss Mei Xuan..miss the class guys and all their nonsense...oh definitely miss our cell grp too...back home

Haha..Australia wasnt that bad lah..everything in Sydney was SUPER expensive though..all we bought throughout the whole trip was..guess wat??? FOOD! hehe yah..

Everytime i come back from a holiday trip with my family..it seems that the greatest takeaway is always a more closely knitted and bonded family =) I cannot stop praising God for His presence and protection you know..like an overwhelming gush of emotions just rush over u? Engulfing u in astonishment? I think the realisation of God's greatness and love just does that to me..

Wellz..wanna an overview of my trip? Here goes.

15 June - Landed on foreign ground, daddy brought us around a bit..took the monorail..ex man

16 June - Daddy left us in Sydney and went Melbourne to meet customers. Mum sis n i stayed at our apartment at Hotel Grand Mecure. I cooked lunch..just potato ham n egg salad n i took forever to do it. haha if the CFers knew how long i took they'd laugh at me huh =P then we went to try out the hotel's sauna, gym, pool & jaccuzi...shiok

17 June - Sis wanted to go to the Maritime Museum..so we went..Aus$52 for the family.. went to Captain Cook's ship, the Vampire, the submarine and the Square Rigger.. the machines and enclosed areas in the ships just made me sick.
Then daddy called to say he was back! Sis n i got panicky cos we wanted to bake him a suprise Fathers' Day cake before he returned. Oh well..he found out in the end..and i burnt my palm real bad..but thank God the sponge cake turned out fine after all =)

18 June - Went to Manly..some place with a nice beach..had lunch there..pretty boring

19 June - Went to Sydney Harbour..cool lah lah! Saw lots of nice things..including the bridge duh..Dinner was bad =( we had it at Cockle Bay..at this stupid malaysian restaurant called Chinta Ria..stupid stupid..it was like a temple lah! Had a big Buddha and joss sticks and chanting music and a lloud humming noise =( but it was the only chines restaurant we could find and after much searching..so we just wanted to be done with dinner.. but i knew God was with us and protecting us..though not one moment was my heart at peace in there. God was gracious though, He saw us through and i knew He had something greater in store for us

20 June - Cooked the SAME thing for lunch..potato ham & egg salad..still as slow..Daddy came back after meeting his client..so we decided to go sauna and all as a family this time..brought my digicam along..the really expensive one daddy bought for me for my 'A's and guess wat??? I DROPPED it into the pool lah!!!!! sosososo scared and flustered..i know it's really by God's grace if it works at all...Sis kept reminding me about Philippians 4:6..to praise God anyways and commit to Him in prayer my worries. Havent switched my cam on to check yet..daddy's gonna bring it for repair first...praying sooooooo hard for God's mercy..but even if His answer is no, i'll accept it cos it was carelessness on my part =(

21 June - After an arduous and long flight, we got home. Turbulence was bad..i thought the plane was going to crash..such fear swelling up in me..yet the peace to know that i would be home even if God took us home that very moment..only scared of how long before we rweally got home..Home Sweet Home...

Hope my trip didnt bore everyone? Well it sure did my family lots of good..and that's all that matters..of course, to know that God was with us all the time..the feeling is just, PEACE.

Been a while since i last sent an entry to my blog huh.

Well, this whole week has been fun for me..

Sun - Captain's ball with Sec 1s
Mon - Captain's ball with J1 & J2 CF Comm..and a whole lot of fun
Tue - Wild Wild Wet with Meixuan and my sis!
Wed - Dinner celebration for Lai with steff n Yuli
Thur - Lunch with Mala, Weizhen, Liane & Shuxian..then went to play Pool..Mala's pro man!
Fri - Cell group lesson on the Holy Spirit...Enlightening
Sat - LAZING and updating my blog (forgot about Leader's Retreat tonite..oops)

Daddy booked us flight tickets to Australia from 15 to 21 june..ExCiTeD!

My memory seems to be failing me..everytime i try to remember important stuff i always forget..baah..feeling old n useless..somebody help me snap back!

Hmmz..only thing i was quite happy about today was Quiet Time! Think i really managed to bask in God's presence..read Matthew 5 today..Jesus had so much to teach..and we have so much to learn..

When can we see Him? I do hope it's now.
