:: 2 "moons" or another hoax? ::
In case no one knows what I'm talking about, there was a rumour that Mars came really close to Earth on 28th Aug at 12.30am (Sunday night) which made it seem like there would be 2 moons in the sky.
We believed it. In anticipation of seeing 2 moons that night, we spent the evening playing badminton, then I tried to sing with what was left of my croaky voice while dad jammed on the guitar with him. haha wasnt very successful though..After dinner we studied together, till 12 plus then went out to check the sky's condition. NO MOON! Even the the tiny cresent I saw at 9pm was gone! Baaaah =(
Of course I was pretty disappointed, since we took time off our busy schedule to anticipate a spectacular sight but it seemed as if we made a spectacle of ourselves instead. =P Well, it was such a nice 20min walk though. The sky was SuPeR DuPeR ReD! Wow never seen the sky so red manz! Hmmz mummy said it was just cos it was gonna rain, but I'd rather believe that Mars was probably so close to Earth that it's reddish colour lighted up our whole sky =)
Haha. Think im in denial? Sue me =P
Well although it was such an anti-climax ending for me that night, in the words of a famous SoMeOnE, it isn't the activity that matters, but the time spent with a great companion =)
That Sunday night, God showed me sooooo many things I need to learn. Haiz... so humbling, such a forceful reminder God gave me. I really need to learn so many things. All the time I think I know it all. Just when I'm satisfied with myself, I realise that I'm far from discerning, neither am i anywhere near wisdom. Scary, yet the peace that overwhelms me when I fret, is the knowledge that God's timing is perfect, His plan is flawless and His love, everlasting.
Ooooh what a long semester ahead to go. I'm excited =)

:: One week flown past ::
Growing up just entails too much pressure, expectations and squeezes my brain dry! Haiz =(
Recently so many things have been taxing my poor lil brain and so many things i have to learn overnight. So many choices to make, so much so im forced to ask myself what i really want, what i really like, what my priorities are, blah blah...
Seek God's will. Yes! I AM seeking God's will in everything I do! BUT, what is it I really want? I have to know myself before I can deal with others right? Right.
Okay enough of all this melancholy.
Finally met up with Terence yest and gave him his shirt! Fun stuff! Missed talking to him sooo much! Haha though it was a really short meeting, we had time for Mee Siam and small talk. haha i miss AC CF! =) Silly Terence koped my sweets and still msg me to say "eh I'll help u finish your sweets k?" haha well i was more than delighted to let him have my sweets anyhow =) im so nice. hah.
Was in school from 9 -5 pm today. My first day of mugging got me lots of positive responses from frens who passed me by... " WAH! First week only so hardworking ah?!" and yet another "relax la!" Weird why pple are so surprised by my overt show of enthusiam for my readings when ive been so slack for the longest time manz! haha then taught kun to fold cranes and went swimming! Cool day =)

:: Back to ScHooL ::
Back to school blues... First day of school, Mon. Did soooo many things!
Passed my FTT (YEAH!) then rushed to school for a 3hour lec on Understanding Emotions in Interactive Processes. After which, went to Cathay with Choon to watch Lakehouse! Finally managed to catch Lakehouse and I cried at the ending! Silly me! Sad also cry, happy also cry.
Haha the message behind the movie was so apt. When Sandra Bullocks and Keneau Reeves waited, they managed to enjoy the fruits of their long awaited relationship. Although it was painful, it was worth it manz!
After the movie, had dinner at Park Lane at Song Kun's fav Wonton Stall next to Dr Leong's clinic with him, Choon and Gideon. Choon left at 8pm cos of Hall Initiation, then we waited for Chee Seng and Zong Geng. Long Hu Men... those 4 guys went to watch...
Yue Ling we should go watch together too! Haha yeah rite, now school reopen so busy le. Miss ya dearie.
Oh did i mention Choon slept in the bus and kept falling off his seat on our ride to Cathay? Yeah he did. Had to hold on to him (his sleeve rather) the whole ride lest he tumbled to the floor! hahaha then cos i was so blur, we missed the stop and walked all the way from Taka. Ooops =P
My day ended at 10pm. Exciting =)
Back to mugging again =P
