:: Pseudo grad trip to Hong Kong! ::
Leaving with Zhimei at 10am tmrw... Sorry Sec 4 dears i wont be able to go for lessons tmrw! An irony that Robyn's back from HK then Zhimei and i are going... Though it's only gonna be a short trip of 6D 5N, im gonna be missing you all!!!
No parents!!! No family!!! Not with school!!! Not with church!!!
My first time travelling alone with a friend... Zhimei Tan! We have commited the trip to the Lord and we know that the Lord is our protector! Gotta take all the neccesary precautions and not stay out too late at night though... Well just in case anybody wants to contact me, i'll be uncontactable during the date below! :P

:: Encouragement to be Faithful ::
3 I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.
4 Recalling your tears , I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy.
5 I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.
6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self-discipline (self-control).
8 So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me His prisoner. But join me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,
9 who has saved us and called us to a holy life - not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel!
Amen! our encouragement to be faithful lies not in anything we have done, but because of God's purpose and grace! Therefore we have a spirit of power, love and self-control! We have the freedom in Christ, because we are prisoners of Christ! Thank you Jesus!

:: Total Dependence on God ::
The method is never the key to accomplishing God's purposes. The key is your relationship with a Person. If you leave the relationship with God and go after a method or a program, that is spiritual adultery.
Psalm 5:3 "In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation."
Psalm 33:20 "We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield."
Isaiah 40:31(KJV) "They that wait upon the Lord/ hope in the Lord(NIV) shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
Waiting on the Lord is anything but inactive! Why? When you wait, you are shifting the responsibility of the outcome to God - where it belongs.
1. You will be praying with a passion to know Him, His purposes and His ways.
2. You will be watching circumstances and asking God to interpret them by revealing to you His perspective.
3. You will be sharing with other believers to find out what God is saying to them.
Matt 7:7-8 "Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
Waiting on the Lord requires us to be ACTIVE in asking, seeking and knocking! Waiting on Him is always worth the wait. His timing and His ways are always right!

:: The end is the start of a new beginning ::
Thank you for everything that you've taught me and that we've learnt together. Although our journey has reached one endpoint, it is the start of a new beginning, of new friendships and new journeys for us.
I believe that when the Lord sends you the one, love so amazing and unconditional will just compel you to give your all for each other! :) May the Lord's love continue to overflow in your life! May the love of Christ that has so amazingly transformed your life continue to encourage and motivate you on! :) Although we grow weary and tired now, I believe the Lord will lift us up on eagle's wings! He is our healer!
I am only a prayer away. My blessings I leave with you, the Lord's favour I wish for you. I wish for you to find that someone to love you for who you are, and for you to love her for who she is. I wish you happiness, but most of all, I wish you love!
